July-September 2014

My writing and reading log, along with my writing and reading themselves, obviously took a blow over the summer. It’s not that I wasn’t busy, just that there were other things on my mind. So, just as a way of catching up I’m lumping July through September together. I’ll add to the list as I remember anything I left out.

Writing

Work on my thriller novel was largely on hiatus for much of the summer. I did come up with an idea and did some initial research for a spec feature script that I hope to work on early next year. And, of course, I read numerous articles in Writer’s Digest and online about writing and screenwriting, so even though I wasn’t doing much writing I was immersed in learning about writing. There’s always something new to learn and I hope to never stop learning.
